Pine Shadows Motel

I was pleasantly surprised. I never know what to expect when staying in a motel, but it has new construction and well built. Beds were comfortable and decor simple but nice. Modern appliances. (TV, fridge, ac) Be sure to bring your own blow dryer..

Extremely clean, nice, and cheap place to stay for a whole week. We had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen and a living room for seven of us in four nights. The disadvantage is that no room services so you need to clean up your rooms every day and you need to clean up everything before you check out especially if you cook; other while, you will get additional charge of $250. We don't have a problem of cleaning but it took me additional an hour to clean up all the rooms: kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. I definitely recommend and want to come back to stay at this place again.

After residing in the main hotel building, the two night stay in this small little tourist town was unbelievably comfortable and clean. Although it is a bit of a walk from the main part of town, this allows for some ample privacy. This hotel was adjacent to a delicious restaurant named the Geyser Grill (very nice place), making the stay that much better for dining out. Recommended simply for its price, spaciousness, and highway convenience. For those looking to stay near Yellowstone National Park, and still enjoy a taste of the touristic lifestyle, this place is perfect for anyone who wants to explore both inside and outside the park, all while getting a good night's rest.

This property is now called The Aspen. It's clean and quiet. Appeared that the room was fairly recently updated. Comfortable bed. What more could you ask for! Was about a 4-5 block walk into the main commercial area for restaurants, shopping etc. Ernie's bakery is closer, and a great spot for morning coffee, pastries and full or to-go breakfasts. They also do a box lunch "to go"-- great for hotel customers wanting to picnic at Yellowstone!

We rented a condo here last summer and it was a home away from home! Very roomy, and very clean! You will not worry for anything, just like they have thought of everything you might need for a good vacation! i totally recommend it, the owners are very very friendly and accomodating! you will not go wrong at Pine Shadows! two thumbs up!

Clean, basic rooms, GREAT value, lovely people! There's nothing fancy about Pine Shadows, but it's a fabulous mom and pop cozy getaway that couldn't be more convenient Yellowstone. We got in late but they made it easy to check in and find out room after the office had closed. Really felt comfortable and happy and appreciated the coziness and family feel of the place.

Good place to stay for a few days when visiting Yellowstone. Even though this Motel is a little bit outside of the town center, everything is still in walking distance (West Yellowstone is small). Our room looked pretty new and was well equipped (e.g. Microwave, big fridge).

We stayed at Pine Shadow 2 nights in October,2015. Had one of the best experience , front desk staff was very friendly , Room was very clean and the best part is that the bathroom was clean. We didnt find any hair or stain marks on bed or in bath tub. Room was smelling fresh and nice. I would recommend Pine Shadow to anyone who want to save money and have a better room and experience.
